Musclecars can give the impression of poor fuel economy on looks alone. For some versions of the Chevy Camaro, it just did not happen.
The V-8-powered SS and ZL1 Camaro will not take home the award for saving the planet, although they are quite efficient for large rank their power. The V-8 SS score only 15-16 mpg city and 24 mpg highway, depending on transmission is selected, for example.
