The 2013 Hyundai Azera large sedan is safe and borrow some of the building blocks acclaimed mid-size sedan Sonata.
Azera is not yet rated by the federal government, but from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's received over the 'good' values in frontal, side, and rear impact testing, plus roof strength, and in all subcategories frontal and side tests. In the roof-strength test that lasted 4.76 times its weight.
Nine airbags-including driver's knee airbag and rear side-impact bags separately-is standard on the Azera, plus electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes, and impact-reducing front seat design.
Outward visibility is not quite as good as an upright sedan design, but the standard rearview camera system is mostly made up for it.
