2013 Mazda CX-5 is the first new design company run under the company Kodo: Soul of Motion 'design philosophy, and establish a promising direction for future products. Less tense than previous Mazdas faced smile, CX-5 front end has a strong but not aggressive with a long hood and glass pillars set further back than the other crossover-delivered more than a sports car profile.

Five-point Mazda lamp upright grille and swept-back which is typical, and the side profile stand out as well. Parked on the nose, though, and despite raked tailgate and roof spoiler trailing deep, lost in the CX-5 crossover equally proportional row.

Inside, Mazda has a new, quiet, business-like interior that is functional and attractive-and, once again, almost too much like the dashboard of some competitors'. Dash and center stack are black, appeared in soft-touch plastic, with either a black coating or "sand" beige (in cloth or leather), the latter providing two-tone interior is nice.

Instrument faces are some of the simplest we have seen, with the needles black, black background and white numbers. They're just this side of hard, but we work well only complaint is that the 160-mph speedometer in the family vehicle unreasonable and crams the parts you need to watch to less than half the needle sweep.

Mazda color palette remains stunningly basic: two reds, two blues, two white, silver, gray, and black. They all work well, but the other crossover using bolder colors-Root Beer, the us? Wondering if the CX-5 will not look too plain in comparison.
