2013 Mercedes-Benz C Class models are safe, safe picks, with good security assessments and pretty impressive list of safety features. And we commend that the brand has brought many new technologies to avoid accidents - such as Attention Assist - for a lower price, higher-volume models in which they are bound to make more difference.
The IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) gave the highest score of "Good" in all crash test categories, but the federal government has not crash tested-2013 Mercedes-Benz C Class has not been in any form.
And on top of that, solid list of safety features: 13-way airbag protection with 11 airbags, active head restraints, adaptive brakes, stability and traction control, rain-sensing wipers, and even Attention Assist, which monitors driver for vigilance.
Additional optional security includes blind spot monitoring, rearview camera, parking guidance, adaptive Highbeam lights and lane-keeping assist.
