2013 Kia Optima has some of the same proportions as rival mid-size sedans like the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, and Volkswagen Jetta, but thanks finessed profiles and more importantly details a set of crisp, taut, well-coordinated, the Optima looks authentic and as far as sporty than most other cars in this class.
While Optima is very closely related to the Hyundai Sonata, it could not be more different on the outside. Trim Optima, rather Euro-influenced look is the opposite of the view that the entire lineup of aero exuberant and Hyundai Sonata. Up close, the Optima has some fun, distinctive contrast, with a slightly lower roofline, extending the lights, grille and finely detailed. However steetmetal with simple and clean - and not have carved.
The effect is to see a focused, clean, and athletic but also relaxed. On the exterior detail we just have not warmed up to is a 'vent' side (plastic inserts) on the rear fender - element in the design busy otherwise clean and simple.
Cabin design and interior appointments are a good match for the exterior, it is not quite prominent exterior design, but a large set of gauges and a spacious rectangular bank controls angled towards the driver to see the number, simple, elegant - a bit like that of the Audi but with a little chaos less polish and a lot less. Some of the materials and trim combinations tend toward the drab side, though.
This year may be said to Optima. For the year 2013, with the introduction of all-new versions of the Ford Fusion, Honda Accord and Nissan Altima - all the more daring designs than their predecessors - possibly all-new Kia exactly in the same class with the likes of the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, and a number of other family four-door, but there was very little square in profile Optima catch.
