While out in 2012 Audi A8 is a little conservative - especially when parked next to swoopier A7 fastback - it has an interior that really worth gushing over. It's one of the most stylish detailed best cabin we've seen, ever, and it was carefully trimmed in wood, leather, aluminum and plastic, with a sueded headliner and rich colors throughout.

At just £ 4,400, the A8 is a big luxury sedan mild, and that the key attributes - along with some electronic control carefully done - to help it drive like a sedan, even smaller lighter. Just like its predecessor, the A8 is built on an aluminum space frame all help keep the weight down-which in turn made the 372-horsepower, 4.2-liter V-8 feels peppier than you think when you put your foot right in it. Audi just nailed an eight-speed automatic transmission calibration, and quattro all-wheel drive system, making the A8 feel more surefooted in the corners, but not more complicated overall. Gas mileage is actually quite impressive, at 18 mpg city, 28 highway.

One of the keys to the A8's light, feels surefooted is Audi Drive Select, a series of electronic controls for the vehicle powertrain, steering, suspension and feel, with it, you get a Dynamic, Comfort mode, Auto, or individual. Overall, this is a very good arrangement that brings out the best in a large sedan, whether you are in tight switchbacks or cruising on the highway. The only disappointment was that the steering feel (or lack thereof) leaves much to be desired fan.

We also recommend you spring for a two-panel panorama sunroof because it brightens the interior without disturbing headroom.
The 2012 Audi A8 comes with the latest version of Audi's MMI system, which was completely redesigned compared to the previous generation. Once again, you get the spin control to navigate the menu, but the new special features is MMI Touch - a base that makes the address or login much easier just by scratching out the individual letters. Steering-wheel controls also allow you to see a short list of options, and the new Google Maps-based navigation system uses its own data connection to get live-updates mapping and routing information. For the year 2012, that the integrated system and wi-fi hotspots have been made standard.

Serious audiophiles will want to go to the Bang & Olufsen Advanced sound system, which has 19 speakers, including tweeters in the front of the small cabin that appears at startup, along with more than 1400 watts.
