2013 Kia Optima has a dimension slightly larger than most other mid-size sedan, and it's one picks roomier inside, especially if you plan to use all the seating capacity.
There are actually wide enough in the back for three across, provided passengers are not too tall or wide, and there is plenty of legroom and just enough headroom for adults is higher. The only caution we have noted is that you may need to duck your head around cutting doorline for a long sloping roofline. If you primarily use only the front seat, thinking about them, we have found them perched next to a little short and flat, and disappointing to haul longer because they simply lack sufficient contouring. In the EX version you get control of power and greater adjustment, but even with that you can not adjust the height or tilt on the passenger side.
Front side, heated and cooled seats and re-heated seats-available on EX and SX models, and we have appreciated this feature under the sun.
We love the way the Optima rides, in a way that just comfortable enough for most surfaces, but the handling is quite strong and effective enough to sift damped rough road surfaces.
Materials in 2013 Optima tend a bit drab in some combination, but the matte-black surface feels sporty, and soft-touch leather-like material covering the dashboard adds an element of sophistication. But there are many such in the layout, audio and climate controls are clearly distinguished by their own knobs and buttons, and even instrument panels tilted slightly towards the driver, it's all within easy reach of passengers.
