2013 Jeep Compass returns mileage numbers may be a bit disappointing. Or they may not, it does not depend on your point of view reference.
It may be a bit surprising to some buyers that the vehicle is only a compact back mileage figures well in the 20's. Only for 2013 Jeep has eked highway mileage slightly more than the five-speed manual model, manages 30 mpg on the highway, but it's the best it gets. EPA city rating of 20 to 23 mpg.
With 4WD and the Freedom Drive II Off-Road Package, Compass gets a miserable 20 mpg city, 23 highway-the equivalent, or even worse, than some SUVs are much larger with more space and a serious towing capability.
