Mazda has put a lot of effort to make the CX-5 SUV used, enlarging door openings for easy entry and exit for both front and rear seats. The height of a seat half way between the cars and sports, high enough for good visibility and confidence but low enough so that occupants do not have to improve but could only swung himself through the hole.
The chair itself is comfortable both front and rear, with good bolstering on the front to hold occupants in place. Hollowed-out backs of chairs in front of the rear seats provide ample leg for four six-foot adults to sit comfortably without contortions. Mazda said the legs behind the seat is the best in its class, although we will wait for the end of 2013 figures fled before cracking the champagne.
For the driver, the manual shift lever in the right place and offers a stylish Miata short throws, while the bottom-hinged accelerator pedal reduces leg fatigue on long journeys. A cell phone fits into a recess arm-rest, which has a rubber mat on the bottom, and there is a bin console, sunglasses holder, and another flat tray at the front of the console. The interior includes soft-touch surfaces on the dashboard looks, and our test vehicle appears well built.
CX-5 offers a long load bay with a low lift-over height and no form of prominent, again, Mazda says its best-in-class volume. Single-pull release for a 40-20-40 split rear seat-back cushions are standard in the cargo area, although the system (which moves the rear seat cushions forward and down) rear headrests need to be removed first. On the other hand, Mazda offers two dished paste tray load area where they fit in the back of the head-a very nice touch we wish every manufacturer would copy.
The passenger-friendly features of the Mazda has brought the seven-seat crossover big CX-9 is a door that extend down around the base around to cover the doorway. This keeps dirt, mud, and water from the threshold, which in turn makes it from the clothes of passengers as they climb in and out.
Noise well suppressed until the engine should rev-that will do is often to move the car along quickly-and at higher speeds, it's fairly quiet inside the wind noise from the mirrors clear. It is very quiet at idle, when glancing at the tachometer that may be needed to see if the engine is running.
