The Chevy Camaro is clearly paying the price for its meta-Sixties sheetmetal. The interior is small even by the standards musclecar, and the storage and luggage space is minimal.
Taller drivers get the worst in the Camaro, and the people that the race would feel every time they strap on a helmet. Front seats - from the basic model to the sporty seats ZL1s - comfortable even for long trips. There's just not enough headroom for six-footers, especially when the sunroof is part of the equation. Then, the low roof lost all permissions, and the Camaro comes up short. Even getting in and out of the car can be difficult, with, long roof line and heavy doors stretch the limits of comfort.
The rear seats are 911-like, which is to say, almost unusable for anyone beyond their single-digit years. There just was not enough legroom even for Tweenagers here - just under 30 inches of leg room by the spec sheet. Interior also narrowed dramatically as swell Camaro wheels on his hips. The trunk struggling to swallow bag courts, and the cockpit does not offer many ways of storage.
With the more expensive models, livens up Camaro interior. It's a sore point for new cars introduced in 2010: the display does not match the retro sheetmetal, and mostly covered with dull, rough plastic. It increased from time to time, and the introduction of the Color Touch Radio glams up the middle pile of many, as well as the ZL1 is complete suede trim and bright colored pieces in the Camaro SS.
Despite these complaints, everything looked good-assembled, without creaking, slow, or rattle disturbing experience. Cabin noise in general is kind of what we like, and tire and wind noise is kept to a minimum.
