Fuel economy is driven slightly last year for the Chrysler 200, but you might not notice a difference, it is because so many mid-size sedans do better.
At either 30 or 31 mpg on the highway with the four-cylinder base engine in the sedan 200 get a lower mileage than some V-6 sedan to compete. And at 19 mpg city, 29 highway, the new V-6 is not as bad, but still near the back of the packaging for the sedan front-wheel-drive.
We've managed to do a bit better in real world driving, though, especially with the V-6. For about 300 miles of mostly highway driving gently Limited sedan four-cylinder with six-speed automatic, we saw about 27 mpg, while the V-6 for about 250 miles of driving mix - including some of the congestion of the city - we averaged 24 mpg .
