Gas mileage remains the same as before with the Buick Enclave - with highway numbers in the mid 20's, it competes with other seven-and eight-passenger crossover, if it is not very efficient as a whole.
Edition front-wheel-drive Enclave are rated by the EPA at 17 miles per gallon city, 24 miles per gallon highway. It's no different than vehicles like the Ford Flex, and it applies to a vehicle capable of carrying up to seven passengers. However, the total comes far down the many five-passenger family sedan - the vehicle is often overlooked in the rush to buy a crossover wagon.
The numbers drop to 16/22 mpg when all-wheel drive that was ordered.
Figures EPA, even at the time, seemed a little optimistic based on real world observations of our editors with the other review sources. In the last of our significant task Enclave mode with previous years, we saw an indicated 17 mpg on mixed conditions.
