Although it does not have the power, turbocharged Ford-built seven-seat crossover, the Buick Enclave V-6 engine provides strong acceleration that fits perfectly with the smooth ride slightly increased this year.
The powertrain to 288 horsepower-the Enclave team's GM, 3.6-liter V-6 with six-speed automatic that, in fact, co-developed with Ford units used in its Flex crossover. Any combination of the Enclave who received some tuning this year, with reprogramming for transmission to reduce poaching in top gear that has been a complaint since it was new Enclave. In our short trip, shifting between gears feel more comfortable at higher speeds, while the Enclave is never strained to achieve speed. Powerband used machines that sit higher in the rev range than in some crossover, giving the feel cheerful, yet torquey enough at the pace of the city.
Handling is not quite carlike, though Enclave ride and luxury car lot. This year, the new Buick dampers mounted in the front and revised them in the back for a more absorbent ride. If you get a 20-inch larger wheels, you'll add a little more violent, though still softer and more delicate than the other three-row crossover.
Enclave directed either to a vehicle of the size, and body roll is not excessive for a high rise, either - although you would never forget that the Enclave is a very heavy vehicle. You feel that your weight every time you start, stop, or make sudden changes in direction, and the Enclave has more nosedive in hard braking than any other vehicle we've been on a new-but-minivan includes confidence-inspiring braking, the pedal feels firm.
Buick Enclave offers front-drive or available all-wheel drive, which is really only necessary if you experience winter weather extended. Enclave can tow up to 4,500 pounds, which should be more than enough if you plan to tow some jet-ski or small boat out onto the lake.
