At first glance, the 2013 Audi A7 Sportback and S7 models (which have nearly identical interior accommodation) looked long and wide, but the low, sleek body style makes it a bit difficult to measure in addition to the sedan. With these numbers, the A7 is a little longer (196 inches) than today's typical mid-size sedan the U.S., and while it is relatively broad, low 55-inch-high roofline really put it in height to some sport coupe.

What it means is that the seating position is relatively low, and that in and out does not mean as some other new designs quirky as Acura ZDX (which is more than utility vehicle). Provided you do not have too many tall passengers in the A7, there is enough space for four adults to get comfortable, while at the comfort of an almost endless thanks to a highly adjustable chair.

At the rear, there are basically two separate bucket seats. From the back seat, you may notice that the headliner has been carved to accommodate the adult higher, if you're one of them, you'll fit but it might be annoying.

One thing that bothered us a bit: Maybe because side impact crash requirements, the driver's seat is not centered on the steering wheel. It's not a big deal though, such as low-set instrument panel tilted slightly towards the driver, pushing forward in the corner to increase the organic feeling of spaciousness.

A7 cargo space is clearly better than that of the typical sports coupe, although you'll need to watch the glass hatch when closed. Rear seatbacks fold forward to expand the space, which is a bit shallow if you measure it by the standard of utility or wagon but is much more versatile than a sedan trunk.

Ride quality for the 2013 A7 is comfortable in the company-which means that if you stay around excessively patched, potholes you may find it too strong, but through tight mountain roads, urban streets, and stretching, very rough choppy from Interstate, we found a way to be alone - almost stoic, in a situation that would have some sports cars and sport sedans working up a sweat. But a successful suspension absorbs both noisy surfaces and a greater shock without ever seeming bouncy or too soft. Audi also painstakingly worked to minimize the small vibration of the engine or the road surface, and suspension components and A7 was isolated subframes with hydraulic dampers. That pays dividends in keeping the interior quiet. An integrated spoiler extends at 80 mph for a high-speed aerodynamics and retracts again at 50 mph, while the frameless doors are usually the domain of the feature coupe and convertible have a complex sealing system that helps maintain the profile of the smooth and noise-free.
