Audi A7 (and S7) has not been crash tested by one of the U.S. institutions, and most likely, because they are relatively low-volume models, they probably will not.
Even compared to more expensive luxury sedans, nothing was missing from the list of safety features standard A7 or available, and in fact there are some high-tech features that can help you avoid accidents. The A7 is equipped with emergency braking assist and powerful xenon HID headlamps, while options include adaptive cruise control, active lane assist, Audi side assist and Audi pre sense system that sounds a warning chime if it anticipates a collision.
Also available on the A7 and S7 is a special night vision assistant can highlight the objects, people, or animals excel in yellow or red, and alert sounds, based on thermal imaging technology. And for 2013, there is also a system of angle-view newly added to the list of options that A7.
