2013 Lincoln MKS does not have much 'attitude. "No burbling V-8 under the hood, no rear-wheel drive to churn out the burnouts and oversteer like an old car chase. Instead what you get is a strong personality, mature, and a sense that the MKS is a luxury car first and foremost, but it will give you the most front.
In edition.a EcoBoost twin-turbo, 3.5-liter V-6 now makes 365 hp (10 hp more than last year), and all-wheel drive is mandatory, while the model with the base 3.7-liter V-6 comes with a a 304-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 (more than 31 for 2012). You can get the non-turbo version with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
Go with the base engine, and you'll get the players excited. Based on our time with the powertrain on the Ford Taurus, this engine gets power through better without giving up any oomph off-the-line. Everything that happened with the engine and transmission carefully muffled, though, so you do not get a notification that a lot of the dramatic. Choosing EcoBoost models, with its 350 pound-feet of torque, and you get an impressive V-8-like charm, with little more than a footnote, mature baritone exhaust - and fuel economy is only down 1 mpg compared to the base engine (with AWD) - at 17/25 mpg with EcoBoost.
A six-speed automatic is standard with either engine. Automatically gets paddle shifters on the MKS EcoBoost, and at first glance, may seem kitschy paddle in a car this size. That glance, a quick turn at the oars MKS prove more useful than you might think. Gearbox did an excellent job of keeping Lincoln in the right gear at the right time-just what to do automatic transmission.
Buyers who assume MKS will have some broad ideas about how to respond, and rolled over the sidewalk, so Lincoln has tried to make good on the trip MKS and handling for 2013 with the introduction of new active damping system. Three modes provide different between comfort and sport, while there Lincoln Drive new control systems that coordinate steering, transmission, throttle and stability control response to the Sport mode when desired.
Finally, the brakes have been upgraded for 2013 - not only for the higher horsepower, but in response to the complaint, the previous year's model that brake fade prone.
