Linicoln 2013 MKS is not a replacement for the Town Car legendary or models developed to pursue German sports sedan. Rather it is a little sleep, a, husky-sized four-door American gave a surprisingly strong performance, discreet, and maybe even blow past your expectations for features and safety improvements. In addition, MKS pile on extra tech features and luxury.
Handsome is what we call the attitude of MKS. In a crowded field that includes the Lexus GS, Volvo S80, and Infiniti M37 - as well as the new E Class and even the Audi A6 and BMW 5-Series, the MKS is a big step, and being very handsome. The proportion is the result of the thick bottom platform, Volvo XC90 and S80 are from. High beltline and short, curved roof lines have shortened their consequences for the rear seat space, but it works well from the outside. And in that, at least in the front seat, quiet, classy styling is a big contrast with the showmanship of luxury you would find in some rivals.
For 2013, Lincoln has cut matte-metallics and earthy interior makeover, also subbing in MyLincoln Touch infotainment system and a new reconfigurable gauge cluster. Restrictions capacitive slider control that this system brings, it MyLincoln Touch and all the luxuries included and features technology that makes MKS so tempting. Standard equipment includes ventilated front seats, heated front and rear seats, adaptive HID headlamps, rear parking sensors, automatic climate control, and the exterior keypad entry system. With the Premium Package, you get a heated steering wheel, power-adjustable pedals, navigation, premium audio, power rear sunshade, and a blind-spot and cross-traffic warning system, while the Elite Package adds Active Park Assist, Lane Keeping, premium wood trim, and a few other extras. Overall, you can load the MKS EcoBoost just passed the $ 50k - but then you get quite a collection of luxury features and technology, what may also buy a sport sedan rather basic German.
That said, you must be willing to accept a fast and powerful performance, otherwise it may be dynamically equivalent to their true sports sedan. What you get is a personality, a strong mature, and a sense that the MKS is a luxury car first and foremost, but it will give you the most front. In edition.a EcoBoost twin-turbo, 3.5-liter V-6 now makes 365 hp (10 hp more than last year), and all-wheel drive is mandatory, while the model with the base 3.7-liter V-6 comes with a a 304-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 (more than 31 for 2012). You can get the non-turbo version with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Go with the base engine, and you'll get the players excited. Choosing EcoBoost models, with its 350 pound-feet of torque, and you get an impressive V-8-like charm, with little more than a footnote, mature baritone exhaust - and fuel economy is only down 1 mpg compared to the base engine (with AWD) - at 17/25 mpg with EcoBoost. Six-speed automatic is smooth and well co-damped, and we anticipate that the new electric power steering with a quick ratio - and the damping constant - would amount to a more vibrant personality-driving, although we have not driven the model 2013. Brakes have been upgraded for 2013.
Good looks matched with a cabin which was very spacious - although the rear seats and a rather high beltline does not add up to what you expect from the outside. The front seats comfortable all day, and the MKS interior is very quiet on all types of surfaces (no active noise cancellation, as well). In addition, for 2013, Lincoln has reshaped trunklid to make big trunk easier to access, with short liftover height.
Finally, if you are worried about safety, the 2013 Lincoln MKS is one of the best choices you could make. In addition to top-ranking occupant protection, MKS offers a range of safety features available you will not easily find anywhere else at this price. Top Safety Pick status and a five star rating overall very well made model that protects better than most, and with the adaptive cruise control system of choice, as well as lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning and active park, it is a model for them who want the best technology and security with their fancy.
