With the new form of glamor, Jaguar XJ looks like the picture itself "after". It takes a while to register that, together with the body shape, it loses a large amount of interior space, especially rear seat.
XJ probably the most comfortable fit of all the premium luxury sedan, is less extensive than the short-wheelbase Lexus LS, even. This is roughly the same size as the last generation XJ, at least in overall length and wheelbase, but the body is so very different and so pointed, there are many cubic feet of interior space left under the glass, where the passengers sit. Even so, those in the front seat will not feel too cramped, save for a small knee felt limited because of the wide center console.
Also noticeable is how Jaguar hardened seat. Ember new XJ is less comfortable, flat and firmer. They offer up to 20-way power adjustment up front, though, and the front and rear, can be supplemented with massage and heating function.
Sexy and poor making more attractive XJ sedan, but clips the rear seat space in the process. Tight headroom in all seating positions, but especially at the back, where the roofline dips just in higher passenger scalp. Leg room is no problem, though, especially on a long-wheelbase model, which got 5 inches of extra rear seat space.
Strength XJ tail that opens to reveal 18.4 cubic foot trunk, which Jaguar says is the largest in its class. Today Ford Taurus has 20 cubic feet, and more interior space, and it's shorter overall - but if you really want one, do not you?
Relined XJ's cabin suffers a bit from some shiny trim pieces. Watered chrome, wood and leather, and can read pretty painful haste once. We're not sure piano black trim and metal trim ring speaks volumes for true high-end luxury buyers, and some of the pieces to give and flex to the touch, something that does not happen in the price of the same S-Class or 7-Series. At the same time, when it is trimmed in wood striped, nothing else comes close-class districts such as theming in his Hollywood - such as automotive architecture.
