This especially applies to 2012 Ford Mustang. No more icons rehashed, or throwback, Mustang drag himself to the quarter-mile into modern times in some amazing things. There is still a live axle in the rear, but no major Mustang ever handled better or accelerated faster than the current V-8 'Stangs - and it's almost true of V-6s as well.

It can carry its own weight against the likes of the Nissan 370Z, in the end, and against the Camaro V-6.
The V-8 catapults into the overall performance of the other categories. The 5.0-liter V-8 thumps out 412 horsepower, with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission pushing power to the rear wheels. Mustang's reputation for no-frills fun ring is still valid in some basic models and racing, but the buyer of the Stang today 'might be surprised at some tech gadgets and equipment on offer infotainment in the car today.
Mustang Most come with Ford's SYNC system, which uses a Bluetooth-driven voice commands to control mobile phones and media players. Bundled with steering-wheel controls, SYNC also paired with turn-by-turn navigation (route maps are delivered over the airwaves) and real-time traffic information. It's standard on all but the base Mustang V-6 - which was not even offered.
All versions of the Ford MyKey system did not get, a set of programmable function that allows parents to set speed limits, volume limits and other warnings. Other standard equipment includes power windows, locks and mirrors, keyless entry, cruise control, and the player AM / FM / CD.
The main option on the Mustang include ambient lighting, leather upholstery, a Shaker 500-watt audio system, satellite radio, aluminum interior trim and optional electronics package which bundles climate control real-time traffic and HD radio, and dual-zone. Ford also offers a panoramic glass roof, HID headlamps, rearview camera and a blind-spot monitor, and a number of display options, from the hood scoops and side scoops and spoilers to the grille.
For performance, a variety of big wheels and summer tires can have. There is also a Brembo brake package with a recalibrated stability control and sport-tuned suspension.
